The major financial resources for NATSA come from the Taiwan Research Fund, an organization that Mr. Huang-hsiung Huang chairs. Many other organizations and institutions have generously supported NATSA, such as Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange, North America Taiwanese Professors' Association, I-Mei Environment Protection Foundation, C. Y. Fund, Tsunah Foundation, Ministry of Education, National Youth Commission, the centers of Asian studies at the University of Texas-Austin and Harvard University, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Department of History of University of California at Santa Cruz, and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of University of Wisconsin at Madison.
