Congratulation to Ms. Sydney Hsin-I Yueh (Department of Communication Studies, University of Iowa) for winning this year's Best Student Paper Award competition. The title of the paper is The Politics of Playing Cute: A Critical Analysis of Femininity in Taiwanese Popular Culture. Ms. Yueh has received a grant of 100 USD and a certificate of the award from the NATSA during the dinner reception on June 17th. Ms. Yueh is also offered a registration fee waiver for the 2012 NATSA Annual Conference.
