NATSA Undergraduate Paper Competition (2020)
The North American Taiwan Studies Association (NATSA) has concluded review for its 2020 Undergraduate Research Paper competition. We want to congratulate the winner, Kexin (Kathy) Huang, a senior from Wesleyan University.
Kathy's paper is titled--
“Civilizing” the “Savages”: A Comparison of Dutch, Qing, and Japan’s Colonial Policies on Aboriginal People of Taiwan
Kathy is invited to receive a $250 cash award and present the winning piece at NATSA’s 26th annual conference at University of California-Irvine, on May 22-24, 2020.
NATSA would like to again congratulate Kathy on winning, we look forward to host the undergraduate paper competition again next year.
