Fwd: Limited Screening through 9/23: Three Films from Taiwanese Director Li Xing (李行)

The Taiwan Film Institute (TFI) is streaming three films from the renowned director Li Xing for FREE through September 23 (Thursday) 9 am PT on their official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/TWCTFA). Taiwanese director Li Xing (李行), dubbed the godfather of Taiwanese-dialect commercial cinema, has made more than 30 films in a short span (between the late 1950s to early 1980s). The legendary director recently passed away in August last month. In celebrating the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, TFI released Li’s films for a limited time. This is a rare opportunity to check out some of Li’s digitally remastered films. Please join us this weekend at the virtual screenings to remember Li Xing and his incredible work.
