2023 Graduate Student Travel Grant Award
The NATSA Graduate Student Travel Award of up to $300 is awarded to selected graduate students and junior scholars (undergraduate or recent masters graduates) whose papers have been accepted by the NATSA Conference Committee to the NATSA 2023 conference.
The goal of the award is to support graduate students who have outstanding academic records and/or community engagement to attend the upcoming NATSA conference at the University of California, Irvine.
Application

For assured consideration, please complete the following two steps by April 15th 11:59 pm Pacific Time:

(1) fill out the Travel Grant Application Form

(2) email your 2-page CV to secretary@na-tsa.org (Yu-Li Wang, NATSA Secretary)

Decisions will be sent from secretary@na-tsa.org by end of April 22. The number of awardees and dollar amount awarded depend on the awardee’s travel itinerary and are subject to NATSA finances.
Policies

To be eligible for payment, awardees must
-
submit an extended abstract (1500 words), full paper (3000-8000 words), or presentation slides by end of June 8 to secretary@na-tsa.org

attend the conference in person
-
provide proof of travel itinerary and payment (physical or electronic copy) before or at the receipt of travel grant payment

sign a receipt.
Payment

Payment will be made in cash at the conference front desk by default. Alternative arrangements could be made upon request in advance.
