2022 Conference Policies
Below you may find our policies regarding COVID-19 requirements, environmentally-friendly measures, social media use, and anti-harassment policy. Please read them carefully before you depart for our in-person conference at The George Washington University.
COVID-19 Policy
NATSA will be taking many steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of conference attendees. We would like you to abide by the following requirements:
-
The George Washington University requires all conference attendees to present two documents: vaccination record and negative COVID-19 viral test result.
-
Regarding the vaccination record, attendees must receive at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccines and provide proof of vaccination (hard copy or screenshot). A booster shot is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
-
Regarding the viral test result, attendees must provide a negative result of either (1) a PCR test within 72 hours prior to July 8th or (2) a rapid antigen test within the 24 hours prior to July 8th.
-
-
Attendees MUST wear masks at all times in indoor settings.
-
Attendees who fail to meet requirements 1 and 2 will be prohibited from entry.
-
For other health-related measures, please refer to The George Washington University’s COVID-19 Campus Health and Wellbeing Policy. NATSA fully complies with the University’s policies.
Environmentally-Friendly Policy
NATSA abides by The George Washington University’s Single-Use Plastics Policy. All participants are not allowed to use single-use plastics. All participants are strongly recommended to bring environmentally-friendly utensils and water bottles for their own use at the conference. NATSA collaborates with local vendors who provide biodegradable utensils and paper cups.
Social Media Use Policy
NATSA, in collaboration with The George Washington University, may photograph, broadcast and record some portions of the events at the conference, including through web streaming (for our public events) and photography, for the production of material distributed on our social media accounts, newsletters, and conference reports to NATSA’s partners and sponsors. Please don’t hesitate to contact NATSA’s Program Directors at natsa.pd@na-tsa.org if you find your photos being featured on our social media accounts and wish them to be removed from our social media use.
Anti-Harassment Policy
NATSA strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment at its programs and events that are free from bias and intimidation for all participants. The Association does not tolerate discrimination or any forms of harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment.
Anyone who engages in discrimination or harassment conduct will be subject to discipline, up to and including expulsion from the NATSA program or event, and possible revocation of membership in the association.
If anyone experiences or witnesses any violation of the NATSA’s anti-harassment policy at a NATSA program or event, they should immediately report instances of harassment to the Program Directors at natsa.pd@na-tsa.org. Reports will be treated as confidential.
