Fwd:funded Chinese-language courses at Fu Jen Catholic University

Recently, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan is looking for an opportunity to encourage UK students to come to Taiwan to learn Chinese language. Hence, we are seeking an opportunity to have students from the University of Portsmouth to come to our center to study Mandarin. The program starts from Summer 2021, the students may apply any term (if the border remains closed by the Summer quarter 2021, we need to postpone them to the next quarter). Based on the Taiwan - Europe Connectivity Scholarship: UK Project offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, each student can get NT$25,000 scholarship stipend per month (the recipient will receive NT$ 75,000 each quarter). As for the costs of each quarter, please check the details below: 1. Tuition: NTD$28,000 (Summerquarter 2. On-campus accommodation (per quarter) Male Dorm: twin room/NTD$ 12,000 per student. Female Dorm: Quadruple Room / NTD$ 9,200 per student. 3. Textbook: NTD$1,000 (each quarter) 4. Quarantine hotel expenses: NTD$37,500/14 days.
