On behalf of the Research Initiative of Taiwan Studies (RITS), I write to invite you to attend the Zoom webinar with Wei Te-sheng in dialogue with Professor Emilie Yueh-yu Yeh on Friday 14 May 2021, 3-4:30pm (New Zealand Time). The Zoom webinar will conclude with a Q&A session. This event is part of the Spotlight Taiwan project sponsored by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and co-organised by the University of Canterbury and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in New Zealand.

The goal of the UC Spotlight Taiwan project is to promote Taiwanese history and culture through a Taiwan film series. Featuring established film director Wei Te-sheng, this Zoom event directly speaks to the core mission of Spotlight Taiwan. In this regard, we expect that our event will gather attendees from New Zealand and from many other countries.
