Dear EATS Members and Friends,
We are preparing the next issue of "EATS News", to be published at the end of January next year. Each issue includes a "Notice Board" with announcements on various topics related to Taiwan Studies, such as:
- short notes on recent conferences, student workshops, single lectures or cultural events; - calls for papers for upcoming conferences and other academic events; - prizes, grants and other distinctions awarded to individuals or institutions; - recent mobilities and achievements of EATS members and friends; - calls for journal issues, book proposals and other publications; - announcements related to job vacancies, awards, postdoctoral and other fellowships. If you would like to contribute to our upcoming issue, please send short notes (up to 300 words), calls for papers or other relevant documents to adina.zemanek@eats-taiwan.eu by December 10, 2019.
If you would like to publish longer articles (1,000-1,200 words) – conference reports, information about new projects, programmes, activities, book reviews etc., please contact adina.zemanek@eats-taiwan.eu as soon as possible in order to discuss further details and reserve a slot in the January issue or the next ones. Please note that contributors of full articles for EATS News will obtain free subscriptions for the International Journal of Taiwan Studies.
