An essay competition about Taiwan's pop cultures

Call for Papers ESSAY COMPETITION Closing date: 15 July 2021 The East Asian Journal of Popular Culture (EAJPC), a SCOPUS listed journal published by Intellect Journals (UK), is soliciting paper submissions on Taiwan-related topics dealing with Popular Culture. This call is sponsored by the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS e.V.) https://www.eats-taiwan.eu/home. Published writers will be financially compensated up to 400euro/paper. Interested researchers who hold a Ph.D. at the time of paper submission are invited to submit a completed Word file of the paper with max. word length of 8500 words, an abstract 6-8 keywords, and a short bio. Shortlisted candidates must provide a proof of valid current membership for either EATS, North American Taiwan Studies Association (NATSA) or Japan Association for Taiwan Studies (JATS). Manuscripts can be submitted until 15 July 2021, 23.59pm Taipei time closing date. Shortlisted papers will be announced end of September to mid-October 2021. Publication dates will be in EAJPC August 2022 and/or April 2023 editions.
