Fwd: Survey participation needed: Amy Liu on Taiwanese/Taiwanese-American policy preferences and political experiences

The University of Texas at Austin Government professor, Dr. Amy Liu, and other colleagues are doing a project on policy preferences and political experiences of the Taiwanese in the US. If you are a Taiwanese in the US (regardless of citizenship status) AND/OR a Taiwanese-American who is living outside the US, please consider participating in the survey. The survey is 10-20 minutes and available in Chinese and English.

Your responses will help us learn more about the Taiwanese in the US. Our voice is often missing and lost among the larger “Chinese” or “Asian” voices. As compensation for your time, we will enter your name into a raffle for $100 Amazon gift cards. Your odd of winning is 1:500.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary. You may refuse to take part in the research or exit the survey at any time without penalty. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer. There are no foreseeable risks involved in participating in this study other than those encountered in day-to-day life. Your survey answers will be stored on in a two-factor password secure electronic format. I will not collect other identifying information (except for your email address for the gift card raffle, and it will be stored separately). Your responses will remain anonymous. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether you participated in this study.

If you have questions at any time about the study or the procedures, you may contact amy.liu@austin.utexas.edu. Thank you very much for your help.
